In March 2016, I felt like my life had fallen apart. My relationship ended, I was consulting in a field I was no longer passionate about and I felt disconnected from just about everyone and everything in my life. I was at the lowest point I'd ever been in my life and I knew I couldn't stay there. I knew I wasn't living the life I wanted to be living.

For the next year, I immersed myself in an intense journey of self-reflection and growth. I created a life I loved. I got trained to teach pilates just because; I started practicing hot yoga; I became interested in the healing energy of crystals and meditation and learned a whole lot of shit about myself. And one of the most important things I learned was although I felt broken, I was actually stronger than ever. I began to see that the shit that happens in our lives is just fertilizer that helps us grow. Coaching seemed like the perfect career path to follow to help share this learning with others.

In January 2017, I began my training with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and finished my training in July. I began Shawcroft Coaching soon after and took a short hiatus from my practice while I worked in a primary care practice as a health coach. In December 2020 I became National Board Certified as a Health and Wellness Coach.

I work with people eager to learn, grow, create and live their healthiest lives. I aim to bring humor, mindfulness, creativity and compassion to every coaching session.

My coaching practice includes tools I've picked up from my pilates practice, my own life struggles, my formal CTI coach training and from my best friends and mentors. I love to work with clients who are seeking meaningful connection and fulfillment in their life. I coach because it's magical to watch others begin to live a life on-purpose.
